Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in the contemporary rooftop setting of the Tower with its castle views, set above the National Museum of Scotland. Enjoy open and closed sandwiches and delicious home-baking in a spectacular setting. The Tower Afternoon Tea is an indulgent treat on the rooftop terrace too, weather permitting.
Afternoon tea is a long-held Prestonfield tradition, dating back to 1680, when our neighbour, King Charles II, introduced it at Holyrood. Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea of fantastic home-baking in sumptous and historic surroundings, beside roaring log fires in winter or on the terrace in summer.
